We have a class for everyone!
Victory Baptist Church earnestly desires to help its members and their children learn the Word of God. We take the verse in 2 Timothy very literally that tells us to “study to shew thyselves approved unto God…” In an effort to help our church family fulfill this commandment written to us by the apostle Paul, we offer a number of Sunday School classes to suit every age group. In some cases, we also have multiple classes in the same age group, allowing a particular subject to be taught to a specific group of people. In the past, these classes have been taught to mothers, fathers, husbands, and wives.

The children’s classes are taught based on the ABEKA Sunday School curriculum. In this program, the children sing bible songs, learn scripture verses, hear bible stories, learn about missionaries, and play games within a biblical standard. Students are rewarded for memorizing verses and participating in class activities.
To minister to the junior high and high school age groups, we have separate classes for each. The teenagers are taught biblical principals that can help them live a more Godly life and assist them in walking closer to the Lord. During these classes, students are encouraged to participate in class discussions, share prayer requests, and give testimonies of their service to God.
Ladies Only Class
The adult classes can vary from time to time, depending on whether special classes may be in session. Generally speaking, however, we have a standard adult Sunday School class that all adults are welcome and encouraged to attend. In addition to this, the learned men and women of the church engage in teaching classes based upon a specific topic. We currently have a women’s class dealing with being a Godly wife and mother.
We sincerely hope that our selection of Sunday School classes will suit each member of your family. Our Sunday School Director, Joey Byrd, is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. Our desire is that our Sunday School program will be an enlightening and encouraging time of study for our church family and visitors. We hope to see you this Sunday morning in one of our many classes.
